Not really sure why more people are not reading this series. Not sure if its the title of the first book and the thought it was sad or if its because it is part of a 2 part series and LIM was not yet released. Either way they are both quick , easy, engaging, sexy reads!!

OK so we know Ms Leigh can write a steamy scene based on the Steel & Lace series BUT for all that is HOLY not only does The Mourning After have steam but LIGHT IN MOURNING will have you waking up your significant other with a come hither look.

Tristan is hot and I thoroughly enjoy his vulnerability and get it. He has warranted insecurities and I found them honest and enduring. I love that the second book is mostly his POV moving forward, who doesn't love a book from the male perspective? We learn in great detail his thoughts and feelings which makes for a strong story.

We don't hear as much from Georgia however we hear the necessary. She has found her strength through Tristan , her light, however Tristan is still finding his way, his security. Georgia has a few challenges out of her comfort zone in this installment however with the realization of Tristan's feelings she overcomes and becomes stronger.

There were a couple of times Georgia plucked my last nerve, I mean for the love of God they just professed their feelings so what the hell is wrong with her??? But it wouldn't be a story without the conflict so though its a necessary evil it sucked me in and had me wanting to shake her for a slight moment.

I still love the supporting cast however they are not on the front burner as they were in the first book, understandably so since this is about if and how Tristan and Georgia can make it through. I was so happy they were still included in this installment and enjoyed their commentary.

The end and epilogue of Light in Mourning is one of the sweetest I have ever read. The emotions expressed capture their current and future moments perfectly. The epilogue is actually my favorite part, well aside from the HAWT STEAMY MANY scenes in which Tristan makes my heart pitter patter. Gahhhh who doesn't love a man with a mouth like that?

The book is very well written and flows easily. Yes, its more of an emotional read than what we normally see from this author but its worthy of your time and should be not only added but bumped up on the TBR list. I can not wait to read Adriane's next book WILD.

Beautiful ending to Georgia and Tristan's story. I was pleased to see Georgia able to stand on her own and not depend on someone else for her strength. She stood by Tristan even when things thrown at them left her on edge and unsure how to proceed. Georgia showed a great amount of maturity and growth as an individual in this book but in many ways stayed the same girl you connected to in the first book.

You got to experience things from Tristan's point of view as well as Georgia's which I enjoyed. Tristan is so sweet and truly loves Georgia. She is his whole world. My only issue was seeing Tristan as this uncertain individual. I didn't like the amount of times I had to read how he was terrified of Georgia leaving him. I would have liked to see him more as the self assured man I found him to be in the first book.

All in all though I really enjoyed Light in the Morning and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good love story. (Must read book 1 before starting this one)
After reading the first book I felt I needed to read this one to find out how it all ends. The story was fairly enjoyable although nowhere near as riveting as the first. I think it could all have been wrapped up in a novella rather than a full length book.

+++Spoilers+++
One of the issues I had with the first book was the 'cheating' so I felt like this book dealt with the issue well and got it out of the way. I really, truly believed in the H's love and commitment towards the h.

This book tended to move from one sex scene to the next and I felt it just took up pages and pages, maybe to help fill up the book. In the first book there was more story. I'm also not sure that the secondary plot, with the H perhaps being the father of a kid, was entirely necessary. Again it took up space although I must admit it did help cement the relationship at a particular moment.

I think if you've read the first book you need to read this one to see how it all ends.
So I received the first book from the author and immediately had to purchase the second book because going another second without knowing how it all played out was just not something I could live with! Yes, seriously, it's that good!! I loved the first book, but this book blew me away. I almost feel like I should be typing this in all caps because shouting how great it is, is absolutely necessary! (So I'll just use lots of exclamation points instead)

All the major players are back. I love how we get to see not only Georgia and Tristan's lives develop, but our favorite supporting cast as well. Silas... does he find happiness finally? Drew... does she get a happily ever after? You really won't be disappointed in what you find out.

Most of this book is told through Tristan's POV and I think that's important because it flip flopped in the first book... so you had a pretty good idea what was going through both their heads.... but more so Georgia. In this book we find out what is going through Tristan's head. And who knew that a reformed manwhore could be so romantic?

My only hope is that maybe we get books about our supporting cast... because you love them almost as much as you love the mains... and maybe...just maybe we get a snippet of our favorite couple...just one more tidbit to hold onto )

You won't be disappointed with this book. There's just no way. Read it!
